Knowledge Summit 2019

Mohammed Bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) aims to empower future generations and enable them to devise sustainable solutions to facilitate the process of knowledge and research in the Arab world.

The Foundation is committed to create knowledge-based societies throughout the region by funding research projects, activities, and initiatives.

In its sixth edition, the Summit tackled various topics that ranged from the role of knowledge in achieving the sustainable development goals to addressing global challenges such as poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change.

DXB LIVE was involved from ground zero to conceptualize and create the space design, the design chosen revolved around polygons which are multi-faceted and not limited to a finite number of sides. 

The creative team delivered a zonal experience which included the largest MBRF booth space design, the first Knowledge Award space design in six years, the first UNDP space design in six years, the largest Media Park space done in six years and a 1,200 sqm Knowledge Exhibition space. This was the first time that such a large volume of materials was stored for future use from the Knowledge Summit, thus meeting the objective to truly making it a sustainable event
